Robyn Hughes

Co-Founder, Young Person's and Volunteer Lead

I am a counsellor/therapist working with people across the lifespan via 1:1 and small group sessions.  I am passionate about all aspects of mental health and how this might be improved by connecting with volunteering opportunities (supporting where necessary) that involves meaningful activity.

Brian Eyre

Co-Founder and IT Lead

I'm a father of 2 growing lads in the Derbyshire Dales.  I'm pleased to be involved in the CIC as a Co-Founder, offering my support when I can, particularly in the role of a Buddy Volunteer on the Nature Based Volunteering Project at Matlock Farm.

Janice Broome

Activity Coordinator

Meet Janice!  Just when she thought she could retire from working for many years in the NHS, we nab her to bring all her personal skills to the role of an activity coordinator on the Nature Based Volunteering Project at Matlock Farm Park.  Janice shows care for all she meets, putting others at ease and bringing a smile to all occasions.  We are mighty happy to have Janice with us to form a great team.

Jane Oldfield

Activity Coordinator

Meet Jane, jack of all trades and master of all of them!  Jane is a little gem and perfectly matched to be an activity coordinator on many of our projects.  She’s very happy in the outdoors, in sync with nature, can handle any tool and has a creative eye.  Jane easily connects with others, has a wealth of local knowledge and has experience of working in healthcare and education settings.  We are so fortunate to have Jane as part of our team.

Miriam Eyre

Activity Coordinator

Miriam joined us for a short while before she started her 3 year degree course to become an Occupational Therapist at Derby University.  If we are lucky enough, maybe she will be able to pop back to see us from time to time, but for now she’s making sure she does the profession proud and studies hard to become the excellent Occupational Therapist we know she will be.

Buddy volunteers

With volunteering at the heart of many of our projects we are very fortunate to have attracted an ace team of Buddy Volunteers.  What a bunch! Younger and older, each one of them brings something special to the team and to those they are supporting.  We are truly thankful to them for the time and effort they put in supporting our projects.
